Established on September 21, 2005, Biosite Medical Instruments, Inc. (BMI) has proudly served the Philippine healthcare industry for nearly two decades.
Specializing in the importation and distribution of medical and diagnostic instruments, as well as essential laboratory and medical supplies, BMI offers a comprehensive range of products. From diagnostic devices and medical equipment to imaging solutions, we are committed to meeting the diverse needs of healthcare providers nationwide.

During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, BMI played a pivotal role in supporting the Philippine Department of Health. We supplied critical COVID-19 consumables and installed biosafety refrigerators across the country, contributing significantly to the healthcare industry's efforts in combating the virus.

Our History
2005
THE BEGINNING
Biosite Medical Instruments was established in the year 2005.
Its main business was the sub-distribution of Beckman Coulter
and Instrumentation Laboratory equipment and reagents.
2008
THE EXPANSION
Biosite Medical Instruments introduced its house brand in the market under the brand name Bruner and Dunhame.
2016
EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTORSHIP FOR CARDIOCHECK & A1CNOW
Biosite Medical Instruments was appointed as an exclusive distributor in the Philippines for CardioCheck and A1CNow after PTS Diagnostics USA acquired A1CNow from Bayer Diabetes Care.
2017

The Medical Division of Biosite Medical Instruments was appointed as a channel partner of Philips Healthcare for its imaging products.
2019
EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTORSHIP FOR TULIP DIAGNOSTICS
In 2019, Biosite Medical Instruments was appointed by Tulip Diagnostics as an exclusive distributor. These are for blood banking products – Matrix Gel Typing and Crossmatching System.
2020
EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTORSHIP FOR TULIP DIAGNOSTICS
For almost 20 years of being a sub-distributor, Biosite Medical Instruments was appointed as the exclusive distributor for Instrumentation Laboratory
in Chemistry, Coagulation, and Blood Gas instruments and reagents.

During the pandemic, Biosite Medical Instruments recognized the necessity to expand its product portfolio to effectively address the health-related challenges prevalent at the time. Genolution is the exclusive distributor in the Philippines for Genolution Extraction machines and pre-filled extraction kits. Similarly, it also holds the Exclusive Distributor status for SANLI Viral Transport Medium in the Philippines. Biosite Medical Instruments acts as the Authorized Distributor for Haier Medical, providing Refrigerators, Freezers, UL Freezers, Biosafety, and PCR Cabinets. Additionally, it serves as an Authorized Distributor for BGI Global Genomic Services, specializing in BGI PCR kits and equipment.
